| To accommodate different types of organizations, SPVA consists of two membership levels:
Each membership level offers specific benefits for participation in the SPVA organization and Technical Working Groups. General Member
SPVA General Membership is open to any Person(s) whose primary focus is the development of secure POS payment terminals. Member must have at least one payment terminal listed on the PCI-SSC “approved PIN Entry Device” web page at the following URL: https://www.pcisecuritystandards.org/security_standards/ped/pedapprovallist.html - At or prior to each annual meeting of the Members, General Members collectively shall be entitled to
elect one member of the Board of Directors for a one-year term, beginning at such annual meeting
(the “General Member Director”) - Each General Member may:
- Participate in a Technical Working Group
- Contribute to a Technical Working Group
- Chair a Technical Working Group
- Annual Dues of $30,000 USD payable at the beginning of each anniversary membership date
- Entitled to have company listing with logo and link to company web site on SPVA web site
- Permission to download & use SPVA Member logo on your company web site, printed materials and other mediums
- Permission to link to the SPVA web site (home page only) when either the SPVA logo or SPVA name is used/promoted on the company web site
Associate Member - SPVA Associate Membership is open to Person(s) who have products or solutions that interact with secure POS payment terminals. This includes:
- Payment processors
- Payment acquirers
- Financial institutions
- Merchants
- Payment software vendors
- PC POS/ECR manufacturers
- Payment security standards organizations
- Payment system VAR’s and resellers
- Credit/debit card brands
- Value added solution companies that integrate with payment systems.
- At or prior to each annual meeting of the Members, Associate Members collectively shall be entitled to
elect one member of the Board of Directors for a one-year term, beginning at such annual meeting
(the “Associate Member Director”) - May be elected to Management Committee, for a one-year term, by Associate Membership
- May vote to elect Management Committee representative from Associate Membership
- Each Associate Member may:
- Participate in a Technical Working Group
- Contribute to a Technical Working Group
- Annual Dues of $5,000 USD payable at the beginning of each anniversary membership date
- Entitled to have company listing on SPVA web site
- Permission to download & use SPVA Member logo on your company web site, printed materials and other mediums
- Permission to link to the SPVA web site (home page only) when either the SPVA logo or SPVA name is used/promoted on the company web site
